Lowe Corporation partners with ANS to build unified data platform

Dynamics 365

Background

Established in 1977 in Northern Ireland, Lowe Corporation have grown to become the global rental leader in commercial refrigeration, kitchen infrastructure and catering equipment.  With a dedicated team of c. 500 employees worldwide, the company operates through 3 divisions and from 12 strategic distribution centres around the globe.  Their family of equipment rental brands are comprised of market leaders in their respective specialisms and include Lowe Rental, PKL Group and Lotsenbüro with auxiliary services in refrigeration design consultants Abbey Design Associates and disruptive IoT technology innovator LoweConex.  Together, they are relentlessly delivering sustainable rental services around the world, a mission that underpins their commitment to empower customers with innovative solutions to achieve commercial success, operational excellence, and sustainable achievements.

The Challenge

As a Microsoft organisation, Lowe Corp. had been using Dynamics CRM for some of its entities but wanted to unify its businesses under one platform and leverage the full potential of Dynamics 365 for Sales. However, their previous supplier was not a good match for its vision and needs, so they decided to look for a new partner.

The Solution

Lowe Corp. was impressed by ANS’ technical sales team and their understanding and guidance. The ANS team recognised the existing technical expertise within their organisation whilst helping Lowe Corp. explore the benefits of Dynamics 365 for Sales. Rather than pushing Lowe Corp. in a particular direction, the team accompanied Lowe Corp. on its journey towards a more efficient and effective business solution while building its knowledge in the Dynamics 365 system and how best to utilise it.

The Outcome

With Dynamics 365 for Sales and Power BI, Lowe Corp. was able to streamline its data management and reporting across its businesses. Instead of spending 3 days a month on producing manual reports, the client could now access real-time insights from a single platform. This freed up valuable time and resources for the company, while also enhancing its visibility and decision-making capabilities.

With the whole organisation now on the same data level, everyone profiles customers in the same way, making more informed choices and following consistent processes.  The effects are visibly positive, and data-driven decisions are being made without wasting valuable resources.

The base core CRM project is iterative and will continuously reassess what data is captured, how it’s processed, as well as clear out any redundant or unused fields from the system.

The Future

The benefits of having a unified data platform are clear: better insights, more data-driven decisions, and streamlined processes. Lowe Corp. have achieved this by working with ANS to implement a CRM solution that captures and processes relevant customer data and eliminates unnecessary fields.

But Lowe Corp. is not stopping there. It wants to take its marketing to the next level by automation through different applications. With the foundation of their data platform in place, Lowe Corp. can now use quick dimensions for Dynamics for Marketing, a tool that ANS has successfully delivered for other clients. This will enable Lowe Corp. to create personalised and engaging campaigns across multiple channels and measure their impact and ROI.

Lowe Corp. is also on an AI journey and is currently exploring how the CRM can interact with Microsoft Copilot, an intelligent assistant that can help with tasks such as scheduling, booking, and ordering. By combining CRM data with natural language processing and machine learning, Lowe Corp. are enhancing the seamless and intuitive customer experience that has always set it apart from their competition.
